ALLISON GLOCK

CHIEF STORYTELLER

Allison Glock is a writer, director, producer partnering with Trailblazing SG to elevate women and women’s storytelling.
 
In the women and sports space for more than 20 years, Allison recently oversaw ESPN’s Fifty/50 content initiative around Title IX’s 50th anniversary, and launched W. Studios, a generator for creating and amplifying women-centered storytelling.
 
Allison executive produced W. Studios Fifty/50 Shorts in partnership with Google which featured five short films (one she directed) centered around the fight for women’s equality across the sports and cultural landscape. She also was an executive producer on 37 Words, an acclaimed, four-part docuseries that was the first of its kind to premiere on multiple-platforms. Her credits include projects for Netflix, YouTube, Lifetime, Sony, Showtime, BBC America, Atlantic Records, Hulu, ESPN, and many others. She is currently an Executive Producer on NBC's The Blacklist, and in pre-production on a feature about MMA legend, Fallon Fox.

A mom of two girls, Allison is passionate about creating stories that are authentic to the female sports experience and widen the lens of opportunity for all.

Summer Garrison is a daughter, sister, friend, athlete and fierce advocate for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in athletics, with a passion for advancing women's sports. As an intern for Trailblazing SG, she helps with social media/website design and learns from both TSG founders and TSG partnerships. 

 

Furthermore, Summer is currently completing a master's degree in sports industry management at Georgetown University, while also serving as the DEI Coordinator for Georgetown Athletics. She helps lead department-wide initiatives like the creation of a women's staff/coaches’ group, a female-athlete networking event, and a student-athlete award ceremony.

Before joining Georgetown, Summer graduated summa cum laude from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology. And, as a Division I soccer student-athlete at Illinois, she demonstrated her dedication to both athletic and academic excellence.

Originally from Pasadena, California, Summer enjoys spending quality time with friends and family and coaching soccer to inspire the next generation of soccer superstars.

SARA GOTFREDSON

FOUNDER

Sara Gotfredson is a seasoned sports marketing executive with nearly 20 years in digital and traditional media experience and brand building with ESPN and The Walt Disney Company.

 

Sara has long believed that brands have the power to make an impact in the financial success of women’s sports, AND investment in women’s sports is good for business and the bottom line. While at ESPN, Sara had the privilege of working with several Fortune 100 brands on powerful partnerships that changed the game in women’s sports. She founded Trailblazing Sports Group, the first female-founded sports marketing firm with the singular focus of increasing investment in women’s sports fueled by storytelling and strategic partnerships that scale. 

 

A graduate of the University of San Francisco with both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Sports Marketing, Sara resides in Los Angeles with her husband, coaches her two trailblazing daughters in soccer, and is a proud season ticketholder and supporter of Angel City FC & the Los Angeles Sparks.

Tricia Lasky

TRICIA LASKY

AGENCY + INVESTMENT LEAD

Tricia Lasky is a Founding Partner and leads the agency and investment practice for Trailblazing SG. She is a 20-year veteran of the media industry building her career with three of the most progressive advertising agencies in the world.

Her 17-year career with The Publicis Groupe most recently as SVP, Global Partnerships empowered her to work closely with leadership teams at Big Tech companies such as Amazon, Meta (Facebook), Google, and Microsoft along with smaller, start-up ad technology companies to help develop agency partnerships with shared goals and a focus on innovation in support of Publicis Groupe’s growing client portfolio.

Tricia grew up with a passion for sports and the support system that allowed for her to follow those passions. A mother of two young daughters, she is more motivated than ever to combine her enthusiasm for female sports and digital marketing to help pull forward the industry.
